Begin one new piece of art that fits the description of one of the list of concentration possibilities you generated. The piece should be brought to a level of completion acceptable for inclusion in a portfolio for college or AP portfolio submission. Use the online student samples at the  AP college board website as a guide for quality.

Homework: 3 Hours of Painting

​Your homework for this Wednesday is to devote 3 hours to painting. This can be additional work on your self portraits outside of class (I've taken photos of your paintings from last Thursday as a point of comparison.), or a new painting (open assignment), or a combination of both. 

The only requirements for the assignment if it is a new painting is that it IS a painting, and that it is awesome (color, composition/design, expressiveness, content, innovation, risk-taking, etc. -- As an artist, you decide what to focus on.). This is a very open-ended assignment. I'll be grading it on your personal investment.
